The association's objects are to:
- advise all Pedicab Operators on how to run their operations in accordance with the agreed Code of Practice for Pedicab Operators
- lobby the GLA / TfL and the PCO to regulate the industry in a workable manner
- represent the interests of Pedicab operators
- improve the safety and integrity of this form of transport
- encourage Government to legislate for the industry country-wide
- ensure
that the industry maintains a positive reputation with all stakeholders
(customers, road users, pedestrians, police, sponsors)
- help the industry by providing a general update point
